AT 219 Lab 1 - IDE and DMM

This lab served as a basic overview of circuits. In this lab, I used a Digital Multi-Meter (DMM) to measure resistance and voltage and created a basic circuit using a breadboard, batteries, and a resistor. Understanding how a DMM works is very valuable when it comes to creating and troubleshooting circuits, as you can use one to understand what is going on within the circuit and potentially find where things might be going wrong. The circuit I created in this lab consisted of a battery pack to supply power and a resistor, all connected through a breadboard (Figure 1). I cycled between different resistors to calculate the power values of each circuit.
