AT 219 Lab 2 - Build an Arduino

This lab consisted of building an arduino from the Build your own Arduino UNO kit. It was completed by following the online guide. Unfortunately, my arduino arrived with a faulty USB port, rendering it unable to connect to my computer, so all of the coding exercises were completed with a different arduino. This post will be more photo heavy and will show the process of building it.

The first step of the build process was to solder the debug circuit, which just consists of an LED, a resistor, and two wires. If current is flowing through it, the LED will light up (Figure 3).

Next, I assembled the arduino itself, which involved soldering all the components to the board (Figure 4).
