AT 309 Week 2 - Skydio 2+ Training

This lab was very straightforward in terms of mission deliverables. It served the purpose of familiarizing us with the Skydio 2+ platform. Benjamin and Kendrick had not used the Skydio before, so they spent the most time flying. I personally have a couple of hours with the platform, so this lab was useful for re-familiarizing me with the platform. We did run into one issue, as all of us were using the regular Skydio app, rather than the enterprise app. In this case it was not an issue, as we were still able to complete all of the deliverables with the capability of the regular app, although we had to switch the waypoint flight to a cable flight. For our purposes, they work interchangeably, however going forward we are aware that we need to use the enterprise app. Lesson learned. Other than that, everything went smoothly and we were very impressed with the Skydio's capabilities. Mission specifics and pictures can be found in the report below.
Weather: 83 Degrees Fahrenheit, Scattered cloud cover, 0-5 mph winds.
Site Conditions: Open grass field, slightly crowded but the sections are divided to avoid any interference with other teams
Potential Hazards: Multiple other drone teams present, multiple PTF workers present.
Authorizations:
LAANC with an altitude ceiling @ 200 ft.
Missions:
Nadir photos (camera pointed straight down) @25ft-200ft in 25 ft intervals (25, 50, 75...)
Waypoint* flight, video, 30-60 sec
* replaced with cable flight
Keyframe flight, video, 30-60 sec
"One shot" flight, video. We chose to do a rocket shot.

Time to drive and set up: 40 min.
Nadir: 8 min. (11:25 -11:32)
Cable/waypoint: 8 min. (11:32 - 11:40)
Keyframe: 15 min. (11:40-11:55)
One-shot: 4 min. (11:55-11:59)
