AT 309 Week 5 - Pix4D Capture Mapping Missions
This week we were tasked with flying mapping missions using the Mavic 2 Pro and Pix4D Capture. We got a chance to get familiar with this equipment/software combo in one of the earlier labs, so we were able to pick this one up pretty quickly. I do think, however, that we misunderstood the mission objectives. We were asked to do a parallel ‘lawn mower’ grid at 60 meters altitude with 80% lateral and frontal overlap and 90 degree nadir lens (straight down), and an opposing grid lines mission at 60 meters altitude with 80% lateral and frontal overlap and 80 degree lens pointed towards the center. For the opposing gridlines mission, we had the camera at the 80 degree angle facing forwards, not pointed towards the center. I'm not sure how that got lost in our planning, so we'll have to work on that. Below will be images, screenshots and metadata.
